About the shot :
This picture was taken during the Voiles de St-Tropez, on a day that was windy and tough for both sailors and photographers. The pilot, surprised by the speed of the C Class Ranger, arriving from behind, had to give gas quite brutally as the boat was only twenty meters away. I managed to take five pictures in the mean time; this one shows Ranger’s bow smashing into a wave.
