About the shot :

I took this image on second day of racing during LVAVWS Portsmouth event. On this day the wind had picked up compared with the day before hence the full performance of the foiling catamarans could be observed. I was on the press boat and took this image using a 600mm lens with f5.6 at 1/6400s to freeze the action and isolate the image. Except for the sound the foils make, I believe the shot captured the full impact of the superb ability of the foiling AC catamarans.
