Offshore Training for the Vendée Globe

June 2020, few days after the end of the lockdown, Clarisse is back onboard her Imoca 60' for a single handed training in the Golfe of Biscay. Weather conditions are brutal for an offshore recovery but she managed to skip her boat very well. This image shows Clarisse at the bow stacking some heavy sail after a gybe. For me this photo reflets the intensity and concentration needed on board these boats. Behind her cute face, Clarisse is a real fighter and she is now ready to sail round the world single handed.
