A windy day on Les Voiles de Saint Tropez ! 35 knots of gusty winds. It feels like Topaz is coming out of the water here, like the flying dutchman! A fabulous moment to see these legendary boats in the breeze. A photo that represents the DNA of classic sailing: elegant and powerful. I took this photo on October 5th, a day too late for last year's contest, and right on the opening day of this new contest, which is partly why I chose this picture, I like the anecdote. As I am more used to photographing modern ocean racing boats, I thought it would be interesting to publish a photo different from this environment that I see every day, it's just a question of points of view.
