Coming into the final miles of the Défi Azimut, Conrad and Tanguy had been fighting tack for tack all morning. This is the moment that Conrad rolled over top of him heading towards Île de Groix. Tanguy had two options, 1st to push Conrad up towards the island off the racing line to block and keep him from rolling over or 2nd to maintain course and hope for a wind shutdown around the other side of the island as he had another sail hoisted and ready to deploy. He chose the sportsmanlike option and they raced to the line where Conrad passed only seconds ahead.
