Stephen Cloutier, based in Newport, Rhode Island, grew up sailing on Narragansett Bay with his father. His passion for photography quickly turned into a career covering professional sports in the United States. His work in yacht racing photography began in 2005 with Storm Trysail Club’s Block Island Race Week. Stephen can be found photographing sailing events in Newport and all over the world. During the winter months he follows his passion for ski racing covering collegiate and professional alpine events.
