I am a freelance photographer and journalist based in Rome (Italy), the city were I was borned in November 1969. In 1989 I felt for the first time the satisfaction to publish photographs in sailing monthly magazines as a contributor for Fare Vela. I also started to write, becoming a professional journalist. For another twenty years, from 1993 until 2013, I worked exclusively for Il Giornale della Vela, occasionally collaborating with other sea magazines including Barche a Motore and Arte Navale. Working for sailing, I covered all kind of events, from the Olympics to the America's Cup, from local news in Italy to world championships, from any offshore sailing regatta to oceand and around the world races travelling to New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, the United States, Barbados, Martinique, Portugal, Spain, France , Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, Malta, Switzerland, Croatia, Greece, Qatar, Tunisia, Senegal, South Africa and Bermuda. Becoming a freelance in 2014 I started to undertake personal projects and I saw my works been published also on non-sailing magazines such as 7 of il Corriere della Sera, D di Repubblica, Riders, Undici, In Movimento, Il Venerdì di Repubblica as well as in daily newspapers such as La Stampa, Il Secolo XIX and Il Messaggero. My photos are regularly published on Vela e Motore.
