I photograph athletes and their struggles during training, competitions, and great sports events: European and world championships and the Olympic Games. I accompany them with a camera often in the most important moments of their lives, both when they succeed and when they fail. For me, sports photography is a particular theater of struggles, in which photos give an immediate effect, resulting from perception, not from combining. The ability to capture the movement in a static photo is fascinating and still amazes me.
