Picture taken in the Southern Ocean. This was the day with the bigger sea-state of the whole race. At this time, Dongfeng was sharing the top of the leaderboard together with Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing. A few days later, Dongfeng dismasted only a few miles away from Cape Horn. This was probably the end of the hopes to win the race.
