Atlantic Ocean, Offshore Scotland, 59N.

This picture has been taken with a drone, offshore Scotland by 59N, approaching Orkney Islands, by the end of leg 5 of the Ocean Race. The sea state was very difficult. The boat was accelerating to up to 35 knots before crashing into the next wave decelerating down to 15 knots, making life onboard very difficult and almost dangerous. I have used one of these deceleration to take off and land the drone, with the help on Sam Goodchild one of the crew members.
