A unique view overlooking the Statue of Liberty as Australia SailGP Team (helmed by Tom Slingsby) and New Zealand SailGP Team (helmed by Peter Burling) are in action. Representatively for all sports, but especially for sailing, the two teams have been rivals for as long as they competed in SailGP. Being also top of the leaderboard at that stage of Season 4, taking pictures of the fighting "couple" was a key point in our photographers brief. Hence, being able to photograph from such a privileged helicopter perspective, with such an iconic landmark in the foreground and the two teams crossing each other in the perfect moment let me pick this image as my submission for this years edition.
