I (H.L. DeVore) am an amateur yachtsman hailing from Larchmont Yacht Club in Larchmont, New York.
I have sailed all of my life and enjoy wonderful yachting photos which capture the excitement, energy and majesty of our sport and the nature that we sail within. I am not a professional photographer and actually don't want to win! I would hate to take any monies away from a deserving professional. I do simply want to share this great photo from the 2016 Newport Bermuda Race which I snapped with my iPhone after a squall passed.
